You will find information on this page about our fundraising walkathon. As time goes on we will have details of the teams entered, walking time slots, further information about the "Memorial Hour" and everything else to do with the Walkathon.
Walkathon
The Walkathon takes place during the 24 hour period 6pm Friday May 26th to 6pm Saturday May 27th.
The teams outlined below are each raising funds to feed into this fundraiser which raises money for the ongoing running of the club.
We appreciate the effort that is being put in by the community to make this walkathon a success.

Team Ballycomoyle U12 & U14 Girls
Friday April 21st
The Girls and Mentors from the the Under 12s and Under 14s are busy baking for their BAKE SALE on Friday April 21st at the pitch in Ballycomoyle during underage training 6.30 to 7.30pm

Many, many thanks to everyone who supported the U12/14 girls Walkathon team fundraiser Bake Sale down at under age training on Friday evening last 21/4/23. It was a great success, but it's down to all the wonderful people who supported and donated to it.

Team Ballycomoyle U8 & U10 Girls
Friday April 28th
The Girls and Mentors from the the Under 8s and Under 10s are holding a Disco for under 12s in Collinstown Hall Fri. April 28th from 7 to 9pm.
There will be a Tuck shop open on the night.

We just want to thank everyone for supporting u8/u10 team fundraiser last night. Thanks to all the parents for bringing the children and we hope they had a great night. Thanks to everyone that helped out on the night as we couldn’t have done it without the support. Huge thanks to Nolan sounds for providing the sound system and lights. It was a great night and was lovely to see our underage have fun. Our fundraiser was a huge success and all your support is greatly appreciated...

Pat Burke is holding a Pool Tournament and Raffle on Saturday April 6th at 5pm so get down there and show the skills you honed during your mis-spent youth.

Ballycomoyle GAA Lotto group are running a Table quiz in Comiskey's, Castlepollard on Friday May 12th at 9pm
Team Abbey House, Fore
Saturday May 13th
Beatrice and Rosemary of the Abbey House. Fore are holding an 80s themed Party night on Saturday May 13th from 9pm.
Team St. Michael's Under 17s
Sunday May 14th
The Under 17s with Seamus Farrelly, Vinnie Reynolds and Ian Barr are organising a 5 a-side soccer tournament for Ringtown Astro-pitch on Sunday May 14th at noon.
Team Scór
Friday May 19th
Catherine Daly is busy organising a Scór Concert for Friday night May 19th. The venue will be Coole Hall and the best of our Scór talent past and present will be on display. A great evenings entertainment is promised with singers, Musicians, Recitations, Dancers and of course the ever popular Novelty acts.

David Cunningham of The Lough Lene Inn is hosting a 5k Family Fun Run on Saturday May 20th at 6pm. Be sure to rock up there on the day and take part. Enjoy the fun afterwards as well when Anthony Pakenham will be entertaining and the barbecue will be hopping

The Ladies and Men adult teams are running a Pitch & Putt tournament. Team of 4 €60 so get practising and recruiting
