On Bank Holiday Monday (October 30th 2006) we packed
over 80 underage players together with 20 Parents/Guardians into two coaches
and headed to Belfast for our annual underage day-out. Our first stop was W5
(WhoWhatWhereWhenWhy). W5, situated in Belfast's impressive Odyssey Centre,
is an interactive discovery centre which went down well with our gang. They
tested the interactivity of the displays to the full as you will see from
the photos. After three and a half hours of this excitement we reloaded
(having first taken the obligatory group photograph) and headed south where
we dined in fine style in the Carrickdale hotel outside Dundalk. We crowned
the day with a trip to Dundalk cinema where there was a choice of films to
suit all age groups and tastes.
