2010 Training
There are no formal competitions for these age groups at County level. In the last number of years Ballycomoyle have come together with a number of other clubs in the North Westmeath area to organise tournaments for both the Under 8s and Under 10s. There will also be a number of friendly challenge games organised over the summer for each age group. North
Westmeath Under 10s Tournament 2006 This years competition was an even bigger success than previous years with a total of eight teams taking part. The teams were divided into two sets of four. Each team played the other three teams in their group twice on a league basis to determine their position going into the finals and finished in their respective groups as follows:

Under 8s Blitz 2006 As there is no official competition for under 8s or 10s, a number of clubs in the north of the county have come together in recent years and organised a North Westmeath Under 10s Tournament. This competition has not only proved to be a huge success in it's own right, but it has also paid dividends in preparing our young players for more formal competition at a later stage. This year as a progression of this competition there was a similar tournament for players under 8 years old ran off in a Blitz on Sat May 13th in Multyfarnham. Click here to see photos from the day
